I often joke that “Independent film” should be called “Community film” due to all who generously donate their time, hearts and minds to bring independent films to the people. STIFF – (Seattle’s True Independent Film Festival celebrates off-beat independent film from around the world.)… and is one of the most fun, down to earth and biggest supporters of independent film I’ve seen. The organizers; Brian, Steve and Clint programmed some stellar films and bought us some stellar shots of whiskey;) STIFF (Thank you for hosting killer parties, showcasing a variety of independent films, and hosting Roll Out, Cowboy.)

I share this award with Warner Boutin (Producer – my incredible partner in film)…Elizabeth Ross (Editor – who endured 9 months in the sweltering LA dining room edit suite with me.
